Jamin Cook enters his second season with the Golden Rams in 2026-27. Coach Cook comes to Anoka-Ramsey with a wealth of coaching experience and a strong record of success. Most recently, he served as the Head Boys' Basketball Coach at Roseville Area High School. He has also been the head coach at Bloomington Kennedy High School, and Minneapolis Washburn High School.
While at Washburn, Coach Cook led his team to impressive results, including two conference championships and one co-championship. He was named the Minneapolis City Conference Coach of the Year in 2014.
As an assistant coach, Coach Cook was part of a state championship team in 2009 and a state runner-up finish in 2012 at Washburn.
Coach Cook is deeply committed to teaching the game of basketball the right way. He emphasizes intentionality in building team culture and creating meaningful experiences for players. His coaching philosophy is grounded in attention to detail and instilling core values that translate to success both on and off the court. The values include: teamwork, accountability, hard work and dedication, discipline, and perseverance.
Coach Cook's passion for developing young athletes and building strong, cohesive teams makes him a valuable addition to the Anoka-Ramsey coaching staff.
