The Anoka-Ramsey Volleyball team started their season Aug 22-23 by hosting the MCAC Crossover tournament, and going 1-4 over the weekend.

Anoka-Ramsey lost to Minnesota North-Rainy River in their first match 3-1, before beating M|State Fergus Falls 3-0 in their second match.

The Golden Rams then fell 3-0 to Williston State, 3-1 to Minnesota North-Mesabi Range, and 3-0 to Alexandria Tech.

In their win over M|State, Ashley Strang finished with 14 kills, followed by Anastasia Vlasyuk with 13.  Melissa Schmit had 22 assists.

Anoka-Ramsey followed up by traveling to Century College for a neutral site game vs Bay College where they fell 3-0 on August 29.

Up next for the Golden Rams are two home matches, September 5 vs Ridgewater at 6:30pm, and September 6 at 12:00pm vs M|State.
